Welcome to Stables Daycare Nursery!
Stables Day-Care Nursery opened in 1992 and is a privately owned nursery catering for children from 3 months to 5 years in the Nursery and through to 11 years old in the Out of School Club.
The Nusery is situated in the small market town of Wem and is located in a large two story building that was previously used as a stable block. The building was purpose designed and converted to a childrens nursery whilst still retaining many of the architectural features of its former use.
There are four seperate rooms and a paved and grassed outside play area allowing the children to enjoy a wide range of activities and experiences.
All staff hold recognised qualifications in child care and the officer in charge has a BA(Hons.) degree in Early Childhood Studies, and the deputy has an NVQ level 3 and both have many years experience between them. Regular in-house and external training is provided for staff.
Staff/child ratios are a maximum of 1:3 for children under 2, 1:4 for children aged 2, 1:8 aged 3-5 year olds.
