Ofsted Inspection
In June we had our Ofsted Inspection, which resulted in an overall Good. We were delighted with the positive feedback and invite you to visit the Ofsted website to read the full report for yourselves.
First air and Hygiene course taken by all staff
Also in March 2008, all staff attended and passed an inhouse paediactric first aid course and a food hygiene course.
Charity Work
This year we have been working very hard to raise as much money as possible for our nominated charities. Beccy, Rachel, Charlotte, Girl Sam, and Becky successfully completed the Manchester run and raised £250 for the charity Wheelpower. We have also supported Sports Aid, Breast Cancer, and last week we raised £230 for Children in Need by making and selling cakes, dressing up, and guessing the weight of the pudsey bear cake.
After School Club
We are looking to build a purpose built 'After Schoolers Shed', to provide up to date facilities for the children that attend Stables ASC. In 2009 we shall be hosting a series of events to help us raise money for this facility. We will keep you informed of our progress.
