Staff
We have a great team of staff at Stables. All staff have excellent qualities, they are fun, friendly and caring towards each other and the children in their care.
Karen - Proprieter
Karen is the owner of the nursery and lives on site with her family. Since buying Stables Karen has extended by building a purpose built baby unit for up to 9 babies and has recently redesigned the play area in which we have all weather grass which the children can play on all year round.
Hayley - Officer in Charge
Hayley is the officer in charge at Stables. She has been at Stables since she graduated from Warwick University with a BA(Hons.) in Early Childhood Studies in June 2005. Hayley is currently studying towards her EYPS (Early Years Practitioner Status). Hayley looks after the daisies.
Bimla - Deputy
Bimla works with the buttercups, is the deputy manager of the nursery and is also the child protection officer for the nursery. She has NVQ level 3 and is also hoping to further her studies whilst at Stables.
Becky - Nursery nurse
Becky is working towards her NVQ level 3. She works closely alongside Bimla and looks after the poppies. Becky is the SENCO (Special Educational Needs Co-ordinator) of the nursery and is attending many courses to consolidate this role.
Beth - Nursery nurse
Beth is leader of the pre-school room. She has got an NVQ level 2 and will soon be studying towards level 3. She is also in charge of behaviour management throughout the nursery.
Sam - Nursery nurse
Sam works in the baby room although has had experience with all ages. She has an NVQ level 2 and works alongside Beth to promote behaviour management.
Kirsty - Nursery nurse
Kirsty also works in the baby room. She has a diploma in child care.
Yvonne - Cook
Yvonne comes to nursery at 10.30am every day to prepare a home cooked meal for all the children. She will provide for any dietry requirements your child might have such as vegetarian and vegan meals.
Students
We offer placements to students who are studying towards their NVQ's. At present we have Michaela (full time), Vicky and Kelly (4 days a week) and Mel (2 days a week).
